This jumbo-bodied Takamine TB250SC acoustic-electric bass is built with a solid spruce top, solid flamed maple back and flamed maple sides, creating a voice that matches its visual appeal. The jumbo possesses the greatest internal air volume and delivers a sound that matches its name. The curvature of the top profile hints at the resulting tonality of the Takamine bass body design. Deep, round tones with fat, vibrant mid frequencies make the jumbo a stand out in a group setting. The symmetrical maple neck adds strength and comfort to the acoustic electric bass, and the rosewood bridge and fingerboard provide lasting sustain and crisp but deep bass tone.

Powered by the Cool Tube preamp, this stage-ready acoustic bass can cut through the densest mix, and look spectacular while doing it. This on-board tube preamp features bass and treble tone controls, semi-parametric midrange, a second-source input and blend control, and chromatic tuner so you can always stay in tune and get that perfect acoustic-electric bass tone.
