Technical Specs

Now this classic violin starter kit is available at a price anyone can afford! Known as the starting point for many a prodigy, the Skylark Violin Outfit features a spruce top with maple sides, back and ribs. Includes hardshell case, bow, chinrest and rosin.

Violin Sizes:

1/4 - Age 4 to 7 years old with an arm length of 17.6 to 20 inches.

1/2 - Age 6 to 10 years old, with an arm length of 20 to 22 inches.

3/4 - Age 9 to 11 years old with an arm length of 22 to 23.5 inches.

4/4 or Full Size Violin - For violinists age 9 and above with an arm length of 23.5 and up. This is the size for adults.

NOTE: The violin bridge is not set, it will have to done by the player, this is to make sure the violin tuning structure is not damage in shipping. Please review the instruction to do by Clicking Here

Features:

Violin - spruce top, maple back, sides and ribs (Spruce-the only material used for the front plate of the violin because it is the only material that is strong enough to manage the heavy tension of the strings while offering a resonant sound to emanate from the instrument.)
Lightweight padded nylon case
Bow and rosin (Bows of lesser quality will use Brazilwood (but not a Pernambuco Brazilwood) and are strung with nylon or synthetic hair instead of horsehair.)
String adjusters
Shoulder strap
