I received my mandolin on the day as promised. The mando is the base model Savannah. Being new to this instrument I didnt want to spend too much, in case I sent it to the closet. Also,I didnt expect much. Tone could be better. Workmanship could be better. Staying in tune can be a challenge also, but I didnt spend an arm and leg. It works for me for 6 months to get the basics down and then trade up if I choose to continue playing. If I was to do this over, I would suggest getting an A-style for the same price and I would have probably have gotten a better quality instrument.

The Mandolin came a day early, and my son is really ripping on it! I get hugs every time he sees me for the instrument.
I can hardly wait for the money to pay of the banjo I got on layaway.
Question: Can I get an upgraded soft case to go with the Banjo like the one my son has for his mandolin?
