This professional Paracho Elite "Santiago" Cuatro (HANDMADE IN PARACHO, MEXICO) is a unique instrument from Puerto Rico. The Cuatro is a sort of violin-shaped, more rounded like a guitar but with points at the inner body like a violin. The bridge is a a classic guitar type, but the instrument is steel strung. It is played with a flatpick and sounds like a cross between a 23-string guitar and a mandolin. It has 10 strings in 5 courses. It is tuned from low to high B-E-A-D-G, the B and E in octaves.

Guitar Care for your Paracho Elite Instrument
For the absolute best performance of your Paracho Elite instrument please follow these guidelines:
- Avoid sudden changes of temperature.
- Try to maintain the temperature at a constant 70-75 degrees and the humidity between 45—50% wherever you store your guitar.
- Avoid leaving your instrument in a hot/cold vehicle for more than 20 minutes.
- Your instrument should remain in it's case when not in use.
- A humidifier should be maintained in your case at all times.
