This professional Paracho Elite "Havana" Tres (HANDMADE IN PARACHO, MEXICO) is strung in 3 pair or 3 sets of 2 strings. The Havana has an elegant soft shoulder cutaway, nice rosette treatment and a clear gloss finish. The Cuban Tres is a guitar-like rhythm instrument with 3 courses of 2 string each (6 string in all). It played a key role in the Cuban "Son" musical style and continues to play a part in many Afro-Cuban inspired bands. It is sometimes referred to a s "Cuban Tres Guitar." From the low pitch to the highest the principal tuning is a C Major: G-C-E. However, today many tresoros are playing a step up: A-D-F# or D Major.

Guitar Care for your Paracho Elite Instrument
For the absolute best performance of your Paracho Elite instrument please follow these guidelines:
- Avoid sudden changes of temperature.
- Try to maintain the temperature at a constant 70-75 degrees and the humidity between 45—50% wherever you store your guitar.
- Avoid leaving your instrument in a hot/cold vehicle for more than 20 minutes.
- Your instrument should remain in it's case when not in use.
- A humidifier should be maintained in your case at all times.
