KCC Model 103 violin has all the great features of the Model 100, but its tone wood is seasoned longer, and there is a choice between two beautiful hand-rubbed oil varnish finishes (the above picture is the special dark antiqued finish of the Model 103VS). More time is taken in its production in order to enhance its sound, beauty and overall playability.

The fittings, pegs, tailpieces, and finger board are all made from premium German ebony.

Hand carved with inlaid purfling (The inlaid purfling of the violin appears as lining on the rim of the instrument’s body. Its function is to provide resistance to wear and to cracks that may form at the edges of the instrument.)
It sides, back and neck are made from lightly featured maple
The fittings, pegs, tailpieces, and finger board are all made from premium German ebony. (Ebony is a great material used for the violin’s fingerboard, pegs, tailpiece, and chin rest. It is a dense and dark wood that is very strong but lightweight.)
Made from four to five year loft-seasoned tone woods for lasting quality.
