The key work on this clarinet is super strong, much stronger than other leading brand clarinets. The crows foot sits in a recess in the body, so accidental bending of the key has been dramatically reduced.
The 631NM clarinet provides beginners with a bigger sound and better response. Incorporating a slightly larger .577” bore and Inline trill key configuration, the 631NMO’s improved scale provides better playability and intonation.
The larger .577” bore creates a freer blowing instrument that younger players can control with ease. The French offset trill key configuration provides a bigger sound than the inline key configuration, while helping students to get accustomed to a feature that is the market standard on professional clarinets.
